Everything you need to know about the 2020 Pipedream Moxie Mk3
Scottish steel goes on pre-order!
2020 Pipedream Moxie is up for pre-order with early birds able to take advantage of a killer DVO fork deal.
The UK is a nation of hardcore hardtails fans, so it comes as no surprise that some of the best steel hardtails come from the country. One such example is the Pipedream Moxie, a steel-framed hardtail that has a cult following and a geometry that set the standard for long, low and slack.
If our memory serves us well then the 2020 Moxie brings us to the 3rd generation bike. The new frame follows the Moxie tradition of pushing those reach numbers while pulling off that most fabulous of lairy pink paint jobs.
For the 2020 Moxie, the frame receives an updated top tube, the same specification top tube that will eventually be found on The Full Moxie full-suspension no less!. The update makes an even stronger interface at the head tube so you can run a Moxie with an even longer travel fork. At the same time reach has been increased by a full 10mm.
With riders wanting to run even wider tyres, Pipedream has modified the custom chainstay yokes for better clearance. The update also allows riders to run a 32t chainring with a normal chainline or 34t using Boost.
Pipedream is offering the MK3 Moxie in the classic Vivid Pink, Vivid Blue and Vivid Orange colours and for customers making the most of the early pre-order offer, they can get the Moxie frame only for £579.00 rather than the RRP of £629.00.
If that wasn’t enough of a draw, then Pipedream has put tougher a frame and fork bundle that adds the excellent DVO Diamond Boost fork to the package at a discount of 44.6% and a total price of just £1098.
