Commencal bikes have released an updated Commencal Supreme downhill bike, and it is up for pre-order this second!
The Supreme has been winning World Cup and World Champs races for years. This world-class downhill bike is also seeing a lot of love in the amateur bike world too, quickly becoming the downhill bike to own if you’re serious about going fast downhill.
2020 sees an update to the Commencal Supreme to increase the stiffness of the frame, improve pedalling efficiency and has also had kinematic updates. With the new suspension updates, the New Supreme claims to be more playful at the same time as being able to run more sag.
The bike is now on sale and is actually based on the prototype that the Commencal Vallnord downhill team raced for the 2019 season.
Along with the changes, Commencal is also increasing the range so that there are now 4 29er Supreme to suit all budgets and a single 27.5in model too.

Since the 2019 Fort William World Cup, the COMMENCAL/VALLNORD Team riders have been riding the new SUPREME adaptation. It had its first race and first win under Amaury Pierron. To be followed by two other beautiful victories in Les Gets and Lenzerheide! All of this experience gained at the races transfers over to our range of bikes available to you.
We are offering you no less than the chance to ride the same bike as Amaury!
And there are many benefits…
New Commencal Supreme Tech
The stiffness has been increased to gain precision and avoid energy loss. With a new idler pulley position, pedalling efficiency has been improved. New kinematics combined with a new main pivot point allows a more nimble bike and means the rider can reduce the SAG without losing any comfort.
